About me

I've been teaching for over 30 years in schools across B.C., and have been at Rosedale for the last 14 years. I hold a B. Ed. in elementary education with a specialization in Primary Language Arts, a Masters of Education in Language and Literacy Education, and a diploma in Home Economics. I have been certified as a Orton-Gillingham tutor and have taught elementary, middle, and high school. I have four adult children, and two grandchildren who I love to spend time with when I'm not working. I also like to do word puzzles, read, garden, sew, kayak, and hike. Teaching is a privilege and I love my job!
